Jim Vaughan


Past President of UIC EAA, James Vaughan, MA, PMP graduated from UIC back in 1978 with a BSEE.  He spent 23 short years pioneering cellular telecommunications at Motorola.  Jim left Motorola to create a consulting endeavor where he provided executive coaching, leadership development, and training.  Returning to technology, Jim provided project management support for many organizations.  He held the position of President for the Project Management Institute, Chicagoland Chapter.  Jim continues to volunteer with the EAA as a Member-At-Large.

Away from business, Jim is the Advocate for the St. Marcelline Knights of Columbus.  He enjoys hiking, biking, and both in-line and quad skating.   Jim competed as a roller dance skater to keep himself well rounded.  He maintains that he is an avid 50-year fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.
